Cornish coast. The figures give the scale. The path down starts at the bottom of the photo, left hand corner and it's not for the faint hearted! So it's mercifully free of the summer hordes! Although surfers like it here and can swamp the place if the conditions suit them.

Typical floral clifftop - Northcliffs, Cornwall. This stretch of clifftop has long since fallen away into the deep blue and the coast path goes some considerable way inland now.

South West Peninsula Coast Path, above Greenbank Cove, Northcliffs, Cornwall. High tide; I used to come here mostly at low tide and do the coastline, rock-hopping walk along the shoreline you see here as far as Porthcadjack Cove. PAM J would understand me here! Perhaps better on full screen. H. A. N. W. E. everyone! Above Greenbank Cove, Northcliffs, Cornwall. The Southwest Peninsula Coastpath had already been moved back some years before and you can see a section of the old path here. The following year (2012) and all this had fallen away. Yes, posted before but I like it!

On a good sunny summer's day on the Southwest Peninsular coast path, Northcliffs above Greenbank Cove. Another strip of coast that fell into the sea a few years ago. I know I posted this before possibly more than once, but I long long ago ran out of fresh Cornwall photos.

A very sunny day and the colour of the sea was magical! More like Greece than Cornwall! Samphire and Asparagus Islands seen here. Strictly speaking the near island (Samphire) hasn't been an island since a serious cliff fall - about 40 years ago - blocked the channel even at the highest of tides.

This rockpool was near Basset Cove, Northcliffs, Cornwall. One of zillions along this coast at low tide.
