This was photographed along the Berg Lake trail in Mount Robson Provincial Park, British Columbia. I was intrigued by the unusual way in which it carried its seeds. Taken along the Berg Lake Trail in Mount Robson Provincial Park last August. My friend, Fizzie, has identified this as the Giant Hogweed, Heracleum mantegazzianum, a plant that can cause severe allergic reactions.
