When we visited Arcadia Beach in June we spent a good part of the day there before traveling on. We were hot and dirty from hiking and exploring and the water and sea air were more than refreshing. This is one of the sea stacks at Arcadia Beach and the one where we left our stuff while exploring and enjoying the seaside.

This is the Oregon coast from a viewpoint along Highway 101 near Nehalem, Oregon. After leaving Arcadia Beach we wandered further south along the coast ending the day at Meares Point.

This caught my eye while wandering Arcadia Beach in Oregon.

Arcadia Beach was our first stop along the Oregon coast and we spent quite a bit of time there. After several days of hiking the water was refreshing and there was even a freshwater stream running down the beach which we used. Arcadia Beach is just south of the much more famous and much more crowded Cannon Beach.

Arcadia Beach is just south of the much more famous and much more crowded Cannon Beach. The south end of Arcadia Beach is Hug Point, visible in the distance.

This was our first stop on the Oregon Coast, Arcadia Beach. We swam there in a tidepool and cleaned up after three days of hiking and camping, washed some clothes in a fresh water stream and relaxed on the beach.
