RHH's photos with the keyword: emperor hill

Earlier in the morning this photo was taken we had left our campsite in Whitehorn Basin along the Robson River (visible in the lower part of the photo), had hiked a short distance along the river, crossed a bridge and started to climb Emperor Hill. That hill ascends nearly 400 meters over 5 kilometers giving occasional views such as this back down the valley.

This was taken as we hiked up Emperor Hill in Mount Robson Provincial Park (B.C.) along the Berg Lake trail. From Whitehorn Basin, where we started on this second day of our hike, to Emperor Falls we hiked up the Valley of a Thousand Falls, this one of the more spectacular waterfalls in the valley. We had crossed the Robson River near Whitehorn campground and as we switchbacked up Emperor Hill had occasional views down into the valley.
