We parked the car at a viewpoint as a storm (a very windy storm) moved in over the Tetons at sunset. The highest peak in the photo is Grand Teton. This was taken on a 2017 trip to Wyoming and South Dakota.

Mesquite Flat Dunes are along the main road through Death Valley and near Stovepipe Wells. We often watch the sunrise and sunset there when we are in the National Park.

There are two formations in the picture, the one in front is known as the Devil's Golf Ball. The other, as far as I can determine, has no name. They are in the Windows Section of Arches National Park in Utah.

The end of our day in Arches National Park we watched the sunset at the Garden of Eden Overlook in the Windows Section. The formation on the right is Ham Rock and Balanced Rock is visible in the distance.

Our first day in Utah, after visiting Goblin Valley we went on to Moonscape Overlook. We had difficulty finding the way and then had to drive a very rough road, but car-camped there that evening andd watched both sunset and sunrise, this the sunrise.

Sunset at Dante's View in Death Valley National Park is something that should not be missed when visiting the park. The viewpoint is on the east of the valley in the Funeral Mountains of the Amargosa Range and is named for Dante Alighieri, the author of The Divine Comedy and with his "Inferno" in mind. The photo looks to the north over Badwater Playa.
