Summer Lessons
Don Sutherland8 comments1091 visits4In “The Four Seasons,” Vay-Hah-Ess wrote: Ernest went with his parents and several playmates to the nearest village, on a warm summer day; and they remained there the entire day. Went to see a sunset - oh boy!!!!
Jenny McIntyre10 comments291 visits1Well yesterday afternoon I had to go to my doctor's surgery to have my leg redressed and it was a lovely sunny day. As I came out of the surgery quite lateish, I thought it would be a good idea to pop down to the beach/Burrows to get a sunset. So off I went - I started crossing the Burrows and could see that the sun was now setting behind the high hill behind me - and guess what? Those damn big clouds decided that as they hadn't been around all day - they should make an appearance just as the s… (read more)

Jenny McIntyre3 comments175 visitsNow don't faint in surprise Mickey, but I actually got up this morning to take a picture of the sunrise.............. This was the view from my bedroom window this morning. My home sort of faces south, but you can see the east from the front and west from the back at this time of year. .............. I was really pleased to see how pretty the dawn was, but those clouds scuttered over the sky just after I took this shot and we've had thick cloud covering ever since. Boy is it cold… (read more)
