Here are the rules for Submissions to the ipernity 2010 photo exhibition

We are delighted to announce the ipernity annual photo exhibition dedicated to members’ artwork, which will be held each year in Cannes, France, during the Sony World Photography Festival.



This event is designed to highlight the diversity and the talent of the ipernity community, and to offer its members worldwide exposure and wider visibility.



Each year, ipernity will invite its members to submit photos matching a theme. Up to 50 pictures will be selected by ipernity and exhibited during the World Photography Festival.



The 2010 theme is Urban Portraits. It targets snapshots or still photographs enlighting human and emotion in a city environment.



If you want to submit your photos, please join this group and post up to 3 pictures matching the theme before March, 7th 2010.




Warning:
-- no frame around your image;
-- 2000 pixel at minimum for the smallest side ;
-- you are the author and get full rights on your image.





Shortlisted images will be announced on ipernity on March, 15th.



The exhibition will take place from April 22nd to 27th, at the Espace Miramar in Cannes and will be part of World Photography Festival exhibitions.

This exhibition will be held at the Espace Miramar Gallery, 65, La Croisette in Cannes, France, in partnership with the World Photography Festival.



Fifty images, selected by the ipernity team on the theme Urban Portraits will be displayed.



The exhibition will be carefully curated by the ipernity team and made of the 50 winning images.



Submitted images can be snapshots or still photography. They should highlight human emotion in ‘urban environment’.



Images should be submitted before March 7, 2010 to this group.



Images should be posted in high resolution and minimum of 2000 pixel width.



ipernity reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify and remove any entry that the ipernity team will find offensive or framed images, even after the entry is submitted on the Website or sent to ipernity.



All entrants understand that the shortlisted images will be used by ipernity for the ipernity exhibition in Cannes 2010 and may be used for promotional purposes of this event only.



In the event of your image being shortlisted, ipernity will ask you, the author of the image, to provide before the 11th of April 2010 (i) a written authorisation to confirm that Ipernity has full right to use that image, (ii) a short biography and (iii) a headshot which will be displayed next to your image.
