I wanted to compose the picture in nature, including a flower or any element to enhance it. The difficult point was that I had my foot on the shoe as I was hiking... I found that the diagonal should be the best angle. As the D-rings are the subject of the challenge I have focused the closest one. These are hand-made hiking boots from "Le Soulor"

I LOVE THOSE READING SPECTACLES... BUT I BROKE THEM ! NOW I DON'T NEED ANY BECAUSE I HAVE INTRA-OCULAR LENSES FITTING ALL DISTANCES BUT KEPT THEM IN A BOX WITH ALL OTHERS, GLAD I DID NOT TRASHED THEM, IT ALLOWED ME TO MAKE THIS COMPOSITION.

Caliper, Craveira. From first half of last century, there is a cork factory name on it, used to mesure cork stoppers. A friend whose grand-father worked in this factory gave it to me.
