Small farmers have to adapt or give up while big industrial style farming uses up the last drops of water....

That is the problem… and also because young people don’t want this life…
I don’t eat industrial at all, fortunately where I live we still have other options.

A sad scene, but without water ..... Let's hope there's a break to the drought soon.

Such strange wildlife you have Isabel.............nothing left but a herd of bathtubs roaming in the landscape :-))

Seriously though, it's a very sad situation...........once the animals go and the farmers leave, it's doubtful if they'll every come back, leaving the young people nothing to take over, even if they wanted to.,......so they then leave as well.

And so on......................

… and so on for next generations, younger ones are already adapted to the taste of industrial and processed food, we can therefore consider our way of life is dead, they will have a very different one…

Hi Isabel
I like this picture very much!
It is a very different and exciting composition of such simple objects! (Pity there are no cows)
Fantastic colours too
Best Wishes, a good weekend, and stay safe!!

Cows here graze dry pasture most of the year, green pasture just in winter when rain season is on. This is why they need additional water in great quantity. Natural dry pasture is the reason our cattle’s (sheep and cows) meat is so tasty….they don’t eat anything else.
Porks the same, they feed on “bolota” mostly, green oak fruit, also mushrooms, insects…
