Spring abstraction

Spring abstraction
ON PIP MY FIRST CHOICE, BUT I HAD A DOUBT IF IT COULD BE CONSIDERED ABSTRACT OR NOT, SO I TOOK THE MAIN ONE…

Natural abstraction

Regarding your question, if you can call it abstract.
I searched for a definition too: strictly speaking, abstraction refers to art unconcerned with the literal depiction of things from the visible world. Abstraction was manifest in more purely formal terms, such as color, freedom from objective context, and a reduction of form to basic geometric designs and shapes.
I like them both Isabel.

I think I much prefer the PiP Isabel...........I thinks it's definitely an abstract shape. I quite like the main image as well.......such lovely colours with a sort of dream-like effect.

The main photo is lovely and soft but I also actually prefer the PiP. Without the greenery in the background it would probably have looked even more abstract.

I've tried both, but prefered this one at the end... you are nevertheless right, without the tree foliage it would have been more abstract.

The florat art is beautiful, and nicely abstract. The natural wood makes a striking image, but not really my idea of abstract, although it is an unusual shape. All in the eye of the beholder, and Luc's description covers it well :-)
Both beautiful images, Isabel.

Abstract is a difficult notion when it comes to define boundaries...
