A fine HWW, the steps a no no though!

Full screen recommended for best effect here. I love the stonework, with nature's touches of green lifting the darkness of the walls. An excellent capture. I am afraid I am another who would not risk these narrow worn steps. A handrail is probably needed but that would detract from the originality and they look good as they are.

As I am trained to hike in mountains and alsoo in our unstable schists stiff slopes these stairs steps seem easy to me, hope I will be able not to use handrails for many years... my weakness is tunnels or anything below earth, can't even take the tube (fortunately there are none here!).

Even in this dry locale, there is greenery..... The miracle of life! HWW Best wishes
