Wow! This is what I imagined the Gollum would look like. I only read the Hobbit (I could never manage to sit through the Lord of the Rings) and even that was hard work...not my type of literature, lol.

I have the films in DVDs... and never get tired of them. They are amazingly done. Would you give them a try?

I saw one...I think. A long time ago...I think. The special effects are cool and well done, but this is just not my topic, neither as a book nor as a movie, I'm sorry to say. No offense meant :-)

Pollution … nous sommes dans un endroit non pollué (dans la mesure où cela existe encore). Algues et sables, je pense. Une salamandre y vit, mais impossible à photographier, juste entrevu

I assume: at some point this pond was green with algae. Bacteria killed them by starving them and turned yellow-brown. Any dead green will do, too. You can now see a water wave pattern of an approximately concentric pool.
