SUPPOSE SAME COUPLE COMES BACK TO THE SAME PROTECTED PLACE IN THE PATIO TO NEST.
THE MAIN PHOTO WAS TAKEN LAST SUNDAY, HARD NOT TO DISTURB THEM.
YESTERDAY THEY WERE LIKE THIS, STILL IN THEIR NEST :
THIS MORNING THE NEST WAS EMPTY AND THE LITTLE ONES ON A WIRE I GUESS FIRST FLIGHT:
PIPs ABOVE
ONCE THEY FLY THEY DON’T RETURN TO THE NEST, SO WE CAN CLEAN THE MESS UNDERNEATH.
BUT THE NEST STAYS THERE, THEY WILL USE IT NEXT YEAR AND IT SAVES THEM FROM BUILDING ANOTHER ONE AS THEY ARE TIRED ENOUGH BY THE LONG JOURNEY BACK FROM SUBSAHARIAN AFRICA

Maravilhosas imagens, Isabel!
Gosto tanto do alvoroço das andorinhas
I love the nest.............such an intricate construction (with a bit of help from you) and I'm glad you'll leave it for them to come back to.
