Have you had high winds too? All bar a couple of leaves on my hazel bush were whipped off by the gales here the night before last.

I love the contrasting colours.............the leaves especially are beautiful.

My garden is full of dead leaves............last year I filled over 20 large black bags with them and stored them in a corner. They will form the basis for my compost this year. This years leaves will be collected ready for next year.

The colours are very beautiful Isabel. I wouldn't mind them in my doorway :-)
