Quando me "emancipei" a minha coleção de cactos ficou em casa dos meus pais, onde tinha sido feita, numa varanda fechada virada a nascente. Davam-se lindamente ali. O senhor meu Pai , que adorava pássaros e plantas, achava por bem regar os cactos dia sim dia não...o resultado não foi famoso. Ainda resgatei meia dúzia, dos quais dois ainda os tenho, já lá vão quase quarenta anos.
