Ganz und gar nicht: es ist Trockenzeit, die Vegetation ist angepasst... unerwarteter Regen würde den Naturkreislauf aus dem Gleichgewicht bringen. In der Vergangenheit hatten wir manchmal einen Sturm im Sommer, aber es regnete stark für eine oder zwei Stunden, zu stark, um in den Boden einzudringen und trocknete in den folgenden Stunden mit der Sonne. Aber es gibt fast 10 Jahre, in denen ich das nicht sehe.

Not at all: it is dry season, vegetation is adapted... unexpected rain would unbalance nature cycle. In the past we sometimes had a storm in summer, but it rained heavily for one or two hours, too strong to penetrate the soil and dried in the following hours with the sun. But there are almost 10 years I dont see that.

Why unusual? Maybe you know the North of Portuga, even the Center, but our South is almost sub-desertical, here we have the same clima as North Africa, we have a 5 to 6 months dry season with temperatures that can reach 50ºC inland...most of the time over 40ºC.
