Tu en as de la chance..
j'ai perdu ainsi un amandier en fleurs
qui avait plus de 15 ans.. un printemps de mai..
2 semaines avec du -5° et il était en fleurs….
trois semaines après l'écorce a éclaté le gel lui a pris la vie..
la sève montante était gelée..j'en ai presque pleuré

Un froid exceptionnel chez nous serait entre 0° et 5° durant la nuit et cela est rare, mais les journées dans ce cas sont de toute façon au-dessus de 10°...
Le normal de janvier est comme maintenant, minima environ 10°, maxima entre 16 et 20° selon les jours...

As explained above in other comments almond trees here blossom usually in winter between mid December till end January, so these are the last ones. In Algarve and Andalucia we have a clima similar to North of Africa, so what applies to most of Europe does not apply on us.
Maybe one day you will come?
