Better a table close to the fireplace (what I did), the building is heated but not so warm!

Indeed, but this was the coldest place in the dining room, I've chosen a table closest to the fireplaces!!!

Acho que é um pouco assim com esse tipo de janelas que não se abrem, um amigo que tinha uma em casa dizia que todos os dias era um quadro diferente mesmo sendo a mesma paísagem (era montanha). Obrigada Judite

Lovely photo and well exposed! I can understand you chose a table near the fireplace, somehow in warmer countries the cold is worse than in the north where houses are better insulated and heated.

This is a very ancient monastery, fireplaces heating everywhere and air conditioning on too, but eventhough if the room was perfectly warm the common parts are not so warm...
It is true that our places are poorly insulated comparing to those in Northern countries, in the Algarve cold or what for us we consider to be cold, that is under 20ºC, houses have no central heating provided, usually AirC only. My appartment is all made (floor ans bathrooms walls) of marble stone, very convenient in summer but not in winter!

Gudrun club has replied to Xata club
With climate change our houses in Germany are getting uncomfortable in summer, as AirC is not something many have. We cannot have it all, you're cold in winter we are sweating in summer;-)
