The dance of Vishnu
The photo I set in honor to the young girl Gek Adii (16), as she was dancing at the festival celebrated in her village Sembung one day before Nyepi.
The condition for this capture was very difficult, too far, too dark and the dancing moving to fast. But here i follow my promise to do my best and post this photo.
The dance shows a scene of the most significant deities and one of the three main gods in Hinduism. Vishnu is the preserver god, which means he protects the earth from being destroyed and keeps it going, according to this religion, and he has come to earth in nine forms (called avatars) so far, with one yet to come.
