Dinner in a Shan State restaurant
At the corner of Win Gabar Street and Natmauk Road nearby the Kandawgyi Lake we were dining out in an inexpensive but very excellent Shan restaurant. The Shan cuisine is a sovereign markable dish people cook at the Shan State in Burma.
Fermented beans, called pè ngapi, from the Shan State plays a major role in Shan cuisine. Dried bean ngapi chips are used as condiments for various Shan dishes.
Great place, reasonable and yummy food! I very often make the experience that authentic food is offered at night markets or in simple street restaurants.
