Ancient statues in Banteay Srei temple
The fine carvings and the art of sculptures is phenomenal in every square centimeter.
A joint Cambodian-Swiss Banteay Srei Conservation Project has installed a drainage system between 2000 and 2003 to prevent the art treasures from decay.
Measures were also taken to prevent damage to the temples walls being caused by nearby trees.
