Another Place

Antony Gormley’s ‘Another Place’ is a permanent art installation situated at Crosby, approximately 9km north of Liverpool. Each of the 100 cast iron figures stands facing the sea, scrutinising every vessel which passes into and out of The River Mersey. Each 650kg figure is cast from a mould of the artist’s own body and is submerged twice a day by the incoming tide.
