Lovely light and beautiful shadow patterns, Two terrific shots Wierd. Great perspective in the first and I love the composition in the PiP with the snow piled around and the dark and ominous clouds.

I used to have one of these quite near my house but it was demolished some years ago and housing built in its place. They are becoming quite rare I believe.

I really like the main image for its contrasting view of the gasometer..........it's a lovely study in light and shade. I especially like the PiP showing the skeletal remains of one in the process of being demolished. It also give us a bit of scale...........these things are far bigger than people think l
