These are two of four granite statues at the entrance of Helsinki Central Railway Station. The “Stone Men” hold spherical lanterns that are lit at night. They are the work of a Finnish sculptor named Emil Wikström. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helsinki_Central_Station

These are at the railway station in Helsinki aren't they? I remember seeing them when I visited years ago and being very impressed!

I'm just as impressed now........this close up they look amazing. I like the nice tight crop and the detail is outstanding. Perfect in black and white. A fantastic shot..!!
