I turned the picture when processing, because my camera doesn't allow to put off the automatic turning. But when taking the picture I had the turning already in my mind :)

The strange thing is I shoot also with a G12 but mine does allow for upside down shooting

I don't know. Symply said: hold the camera upside down and take a photo but that doesn't work for you. May be the setting, manual in stead of (semi)automatic does the tric?

It took a while to make the picture, because I had to stand on a very busy road to get the whole shadow and when it was quiet enough a bicycler had to pass by just that moment
