Showing the leaves and the distinctive male catkins hanging in tiered clusters. Male and female flowers are on separate catkins, but on the same tree. The female catkins will appear in the spring. There is a closer view of the catkins in the PiP. These were taken in a local cemetery.

Looking over the rooftops from the sea walls towards Tower House and it's beautiful "galleon" weather vane. In the PiP is a view along the new sea defences looking towards the harbour entrance with the Square Tower on the right and Gosport on the left.
