Isar Valley and Alps
When we first came to Munich and got acquainted with the paintings of Carl Rottmann (which isn’t as strange as it seems, as our address was Rottmannstraße, at the time), we couldn’t believe his spectacular skies and cloud formations had a base in reality. Now, of course, we know better.

I think it somehow very appropriate the church catches the last rays of the setting sun :-)
and *I assume* the first at sun rise ;-)

Thanks, Sherry Lynn! Though (even after two hours of really hard thinking) I can’t figure out what you exactly mean by your comment, I suppose you never can go wrong with “somehow”! :-)
