Almond Biscotti to enjoy with Vin Santo!!!
Lugano, Switzerland
This is a lovely little city which can't decide whether it is Swiss or Italian, which is absolutely perfect for travelers who love food, wine, and beer!! Traveling on the lake offers many opportunities to walk through the tiny villages which dot the shoreline. There are small restaurants, which are a delight, such as Bottegone del Vino in Gandria. The owner was an absolutely delightful gentleman who personally served our table with many delicious foods such as this perch served with a fantastic local white Merlot and a dessert of "nuts ice cream" with Nocino, a local brandy.
Thank you all for visiting and for your gracious and appreciated comments! I wish I could thank each of you personally.
Have a great creative day!
