A lovely portrait of your dad Trudy. It strikes a chord with me as I have only been able to speak to my dad on the phone since the start of lockdown. Sadly my wonderful dad died yesterday. HFF and have a good weekend

So very sorry for your loss, Carol! And I can imagine the added sorrow of not having had a chance to be close to him in person as his life came to a close. Having lost both my parents, I know that they leave us an unimaginable wealth of memories and that, when the pain eases a little, you will find yourself smiling at the poignant times as well as at the little quirky moments you shared. Right now, though, we can only send you hug and let you know that you are in our thoughts.
