Färberkamille
In meinem Garten. Die Färberkamille ist eine genügsame Pflanze, die ohne Pflege gut gedeiht und viele goldgelbe Blüten hervorbringt. In diesem Jahr sind die Pflanzen nicht normale 80 cm hoch, sondern gut 1,20 m groß. Sie blüht von Juni bis September. Die etwa 2,5 cm großen Blüten produzieren viel Blütenstaub. Deshalb werden sie auch von vielen Bienen- und Käferarten besucht. Früher wurde sie zum Färben von Wolle und Leinen verwendet. Eine einzige Blüte produziert mehr als 100 Samen. So verbreitet sie sich von allein auf Wiesen und Beeten, wenn man sie lässt.
