This bench goes right along the bank, with sections to sit back against every few metres. Tuesday picnic on the other side of the Meuse

Cute gable of a house on François & Eugénie's street. I wonder what is behind the little window

I was ordering at the bar in Pot au Lait and the French speaking barman asked where I was from. Eugénie replied that I was Australian. He asked (in English) "where in Australia?" I answered with Fish Creek, and he said "I'm from Sydney"! He moved here with his parents and family 19 years ago and has been here since but is thinking of moving back sometime soon. He makes guitars (really nice looking ones) and his name is Ivan. It was a very enjoyable meeting for both of us, and we swapped details. I'm hoping I'll see him and his daughter in Australia

Chapeau Banana Geuze lambic beer - I really really liked it. Had two of them. Don't care what anyone says, they are tasty! At the Pot au Lait bar with François & Eugénie
