Faro de Punta Cumplida

Faro de Punta Cumplida
Dieser Leuchtturm ist der älteste in ganz Spanien. Er ist immer noch betriebsbereit ( mit neuer Optik seit 1992 ) und wurde bereits 1867 in Betrieb genommen. 34 m ist er hoch und hat einen Durchmesser von 5,30m. Er ‚bewacht‘ die Nordostküste von La Palma. Seit 2019 befindet sich in den Gebäuden ein Luxushotel; hier kann man sich für stolze Preise einmieten und den Blick auf den Atlantik genießen. War allerdings eine Nummer zu groß für unseren Geldbeutel; hätte aber bestimmt viel Spaß gebracht.

Zimmer ca. 400 € pro Nacht ( mit Frühstück :-)) ); man kann auch den ganzen Turm mieten: für schlappe 1600,— €. Guten Morgen, Edna !
