The 50-Images-Project: Mail Boxes 42/50 - ‚Risque de Blessure‘ - dieser Warnhinweis befindet sich seit kurzem auf den Einwurfschlitzen vieler französischer Briefkästen. Worin das Verletzungsrisiko beim Einwerfen eines Briefes bestehen soll, ist mir nicht so recht klar geworden. Nun ja; alles, was sich in dieser Welt so abspielt, muss man ja auch nicht verstehen. Wär ja noch schöner !

Looks like one of those that restricts the size of the mail being posted, if your letter does not fit you take it to the post office and pay more to send it.

Erklärungsversuch:

"Bitte heben sie mit der rechten(oder linken) Hand die Klappe hoch und halten sie diese fest! Dann werfen sie mit der anderen Hand den Brief oder Karte ein, entfernen die Einwurfshand aus dem Schlitz. Erst danach können sie mit der Haltehand die Klappe loslassen!"
