St. Genies is a small traditional village near Beziers/Herault. It's one of 50 villages in the departments Herault, Aude and Gard which are so-called Circulades what means that the village has been built in concentric circles. Center of these villages is the church. This one was built in the 14. Century and renewed during the 17. Century.
