South Australia

Photos from around my state of South Australia....not too far from my home. South Australia has fabulous vineyards, fruits and food. We have hundreds of kilometers of amazing golden beaches, fish and seafoods and a Mediterranean or Californian climate. We produce fantastic cheeses and fresh foods....and also have gigantic wheat and grain farms.
Kangaroo Island, just off the coast is a premier world class eco-toursit destination and our inland desert or outback is some of the oldest land on the planet. It attracts paleontologists and geologists world wide to its rare and unique fossils and landforms.
Mining is another major industry....gas, copper, uranium, silver, lead. opal.
And of course we have lots of animals... native kangaroos, koalas and parrots...which one can commonly find even in suburban areas. And we have giant sheep and cattle farms...each sometimes the size of a small country in itself.
