HFF. A stone one in a nomad camp
At 4700 meters, across the Himalayas in the high altitude region of Ladakh, far north India. Here in this remote spot near the border with Tibet, nomadic herders bring their pashmina goats to summer pasture here. They live in yak hair tents. The stone corrals contain the livestock at night, as snow leopards prowl here. In autumn they descend to lower altitude, as it is -40C in winter, and inaccessible.
