Superb Fairy Wren
Adult male. The tiny birds weigh about 10 gms and move very fast. It was not until I cropped this that I realise this one was tagged, probably by a nearby nature reserve. I have long wanted to capture a decent photo of one of these beauties.

It is the boy. They are mostly grey but develop the blue hat to attract ladies in breeding season. He had found some tiny specks of something orange and edible and was eating...
