Malayan Colugo (flying lemur) Galeopterus variegatus
In the wild. Sarawak. Not a true lemur. A South-East Asian arboreal creature, nocturnal. It has many similarities to marsupials in its reproduction. It glides from tree to tree using the membrane between front and back legs. It is very slow moving, creeping laboriously up a trunk or bough over a whole day to then glide down.
