These picnic tables are a very pleasant spot for lunch - and the barbecue is just outside this scene, if that's your preference.

Bayside views
Not too far from the site of my bench photo for last week. Although this very pleasant picnic spot has no barbecue, there is ample parking.
Bad day at the beach
We've just had a week of fairly wild weather which has churned up large waves and caused extensive beach erosion - as seen here, where the beach has gone and going by the litter it appears that, at the highest, some waves have come up to the seat area. Best viewed large on black.
Fortunately the weather has come good again, so I can wish everyone a Happy Bench Monday.
Windy day
With a strong wind blowing off the water, you'd have needed a backrest to stay on this bench! Best viewed large.

Home made bench
When there's the perfect place and no bench - well, why not make one yourself? HBM, everyone.
I must make a note about the "Location" shown at right. The map is correct, the "address" is totally wrong! This is near Maloneys Beach in the National Park.
Watching the work
Watching the bridge building saga across the Clyde River, with the old bridge being dismantled. Probably best viewed large.

Snapping sunset
When catching this image I realised, when I saw this man waiting for sunsets, that I've been missing on an important aid - a bottle of beer as support. :-) Happy Bench Monday, everyone.
The 'Elves' were here
I gather the local "Elves" acquired and placed this bench near one of the beach access pathways in the Nature Reserve.
