Swamp Wallaby
Smaller than kangaroos, to which they are related, Wallabies usually prefer to stay in forested areas. I found this one in our local Botanic Gardens.

It's wild and free to come and go, Steve, as none of the wildlife there is in captivity. That said, it's probably seen enough people that it's not very concerned about wandering photographers.
