Fiddled around with the colors but couldn't quite make it work. Suggestions?

Since most of the allure is on the right side but the body language of the fellow at distant left adds a good touch to the shot, I would probably play around with something like Topaz Simplify for the left side - make it flatter and more like a painting - while masking the right.
