Oooh John that looks gorgeous. I bet it was good driving around in the summer with the wind through your hair and seeing the countryside speed past you.

No Dave, the TR 2-3 & 3a were all 4 speed, motor was 2 litre, could be changed to 2,2 litre by simply changing the wet liners and pistons.
My sister had an Austin Healy 3000 at the same time.

Vintage cars never really interested me except for the Vintage races held at Goodwood etc.
I used the car mainly for club racing other than transport.

Gorgeous! My husband used to own a Triumph TR6 Hardtop.. We had to get rid of it after we had our daughter.. Not very practical at all... But it was fun!
