the unusual font bears shields with fish aand lions on them, it seems early c15 to me. there is a similar one at bradford abbas, and others of similar design but without the outer legs, though these appear to have been carved in one piece with the bowl, with a join half way down the leg, excepting later repair to one leg, so they are not add ons.

some of these late c14 capitals on the rebuilt crossing under the c13 tower look like green men, some more akin to angels
