burges included a wheel of life around the wheel window. not an easy church to find open, being on an industrial estate at the end of an airport runway; I was lucky by chance, and the vicar was really sweet.

the east window is burges being tough as only he could be, the glass of 1875 by hardman with a majesty in the rose, and an annunciation balancing st.michael fighting the dragon below

burges designed the 4 ages of man for the wheel of life, carved by nichols around the western wheel window. the puppy dog corbel by the tower is a typical burges joke

a dark church, too much for my old pre digital camera, included here because this is not the easiest church to access. I was lucky, going there and finding the friendly vicar just leaving.
as the church is on an industrial estate now, having lost its village to the airport over the road, it is little used, but is a fairly untouched burges interior of 1867
