Mile End, I think? By the green bridge. Isn't it in one of the turnings on the left just after the petrol station? I have a vague feeling I've seen it before and think I might even have a photo of it somewhere if this is where it is.

that's it, next to a rather plastic looking stupa on a hindu temple. a surprisingly interesting area for architecture; good church, school and square.
