st.margaret's westminster

st.margaret's westminster
st.george. like everything else here, the east window is difficult to get decent detailed images of; the guide book is tourist rubbish and costs £4, yet anyone taking photos inside gets grief from security, just like inside the abbey. the early c16 flemish glass was probably made in leiden, c.1515-27, and may have originated from waltham abbey. it shows a young henry VIII below st.george opposite catherine of aragon below st.katherine, set into the side lights that eked out the three central lights of the crucifixion.
