sculpture, off upper st., islington, london
inner london sculptural frieze that's been around the houses. carved frieze of 1842 by musgrave watson, made for the hall of commerce near the bank in the city; when demolished in 1922 it went to university college, before ending up in north london. now hidden away in a tiny sunken courtyard off a mews behind a dead end street off upper street in islington, off napier terrace.

I'll be giving details later, as this is currently a clue on the Guess where London group; I know London pretty well yet have walked within 5 yards of this very large group of figures many times without knowing it was there. Always something new just around the corner.
