I was looking at him today and wondering what will become of him now the school's scheduled for redevelopment. (It was my research into that that led me to this pic.)
I'm very fond of him as I've lived around this area for years and often pass him. My daughter used to go to school there (20+ years ago!)

He's good isn't he, a great swirl of liife. I noticed that the school was all boarded up though it's been looking rough for some time, and the chicken somewhat unloved. For ages I thought of the place as the chicken college and presumed it taught agriculture; I mean, for a school, why a chicken ? Hope he doesn't get scrapped, I'd miss him.
