little wenham hall, suffolk

brick built fortified house, c.1280. just visible is the low side window on this north side, facing the churchyard. it's not really possible to get close to the house, though it has a beautiful vaulted chapel and a hall on the first floor, with a solar above; one I'd love to see properly.
