this church's i.s.p. seems to be that it's tony blair's local: something I think I'd keep quiet about; doesn't he bat for the other side anyway ? built as the connaught chapel, the church is a simple brick commissioners' church of 1829-32 by charles fowler, more known for market buildings such as covent garden. blomfield added the porch and big end windows in 1888.
